Free Fire place a lot of emphasis on our data security and providing a positive and an enjoyable experience to all our players. Teams across security, engineering, legal and operations work together to tackle any new found vulnerability and cheats.

How do we define Cheating?

Using any unauthorized third party programs which are not released by Garena, modifying of the game client, and/or playing in a modified game client in order to use functions that are non existent on the official game.

What is the definition of third party software/apks/etc for Garena Free Fire?

Any software that attempts to decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble or hack the Services (or any portion thereof), or to defeat or overcome any encryption technology or security measures implemented by Garena with respect to the Services and/or data transmitted, processed or stored by Garena.

I have spotted cheaters/ new scripts in a game. How do I report?

Please use the in-game Report function. Every reports counts, it allows us to quickly detect and ban these cheaters.

How does Free Fire punish cheaters?

Free Fire has a zero-tolerance policy against cheating. We will permanently ban their accounts used for cheating.

So you're a security researcher and found a security vulnerability that allows players to cheat or harm the gaming experience of other users. Good news, Garena partner with Hackerone to manage our bounty program and you're very welcome to sign up. To recognize your efforts and honor your contributions, we offer a monetary bounty for valid and qualified vulnerability reports. Submit your vulnerability report to FFSecurity@garena.com *. After verifying the vulnerability, an invitation will be sent for our Hackerone program

We evaluate the vulnerabilities severity by their practical impact. Bounty reward will also be based on the level of severity. The listed classes are not meant to be an exhausted list.

 $50 ~ $100

 

Depending on the complexity of the vulnerability, it may take up to 7 - 25 business days to review and respond a valid report.
